Matt Krupanski, ehemaliger Drummer von Boysetsfire, ist gestorben. Dies vermeldete die Band am heutigen 28. März 2026 über ihrem Instagram-Kanal. Der Musiker und Freund spielte von 1994 bis 2012 in der Post-Hardcore-Gruppe aus Newark. Matt war also an Werken wie The Day the Sun Went Out und dem Klassiker After The Eulogy sowie einigen mehr beteiligt.
Die Band schreibt dazu in einem Statement:
We hate to write this. Today the BSF family lost one of our founding members, our drummer Matt Krupanski.
Words are failing us. Snapshots of memories skitter through our mind.

We are gutted. Our hearts are shredded. We lost a brother today.
We are planning on a fund raiser for Georgie maybe for college or whatever the family decides.
