Nachdem es in der vergangenen Zeit doch eher ruhig um Firewalker war, meldet sich die Band aus Boston nun vollends zurück. So erscheint am 28. Juni 2024 ein neues Album names Hell Bent, aus dem Firewalker mit Carry My Own Torch mit Ankündigung auch eine erste Single bringen.

Das zweite Studioalbum wird über Triple B Records erscheinen. Sieben Jahre zuvor veröffentlichte die Band ihr Debütalbum noch via Pop Wig Records. 2022 legte Firewalker drei neue Songs auf einem Promo-Tape vor.
Gitarrist Cecelia Halle zum neuen Longplayer und der Entwicklung von Firewalker:
“After being a band for nearly ten years, we wanted to create an album that captured how we have progressed musically, both in terms of instrumentation and inspiration. Since the beginning of Firewalker, we have drawn inspiration from Madball’s progression as a band: starting with the simplicity and genius of ‘Ball of Destruction’ and developing towards heavier and metallic albums like ‘Set it Off.’ With that in mind, the writing of the album drew heavily from our influences in hardcore and metal—trying to capture the spirit of late 80s metallic hardcore while holding true to our roots as a Boston hardcore band.”
