Frontmann JP Lagacé zur neuen Single, der Lionheart-Sänger Rob Watson einen Guestpart beiträgt:
„Deathbound” is our primitive answer to years of accumulated hatred and anger towards the lowest forms of humankind that crossed our way. After more than a decade as a band, we experienced our fair share of deception and betrayal. Now is the time to settle the score and make the scum of the Earth afraid again. Nietzsche once said that nothing in life consumes a man more quickly than the passion of resentment. Well, this song is all about vengeance and is nothing more than a cathartic attempt to give sense to this anger while turning it into self-elevating power rather than decadent weakness.“
Der Song lässt auch auf ein neues Album hoffen, das die Band schon länger angekündigt hatte und bestenfalls noch pünktlich zur bevorstehenden Tour im Sommer erscheinen wird:
Get The Shot – Europa-Tour 2022
Die kanadische Hardcore-Band legte 2017 mit Infinite Punishment ihr bislang letztes Studioalbum über New Damage Records vor. Der Nachfolger ist schon länger aufgenommen und wird noch in diesem Jahr erwartet.
Bereits ein paar Monate später spielen Get The Shot dann mit Lionheart, Terror und Dying Wish ihre nächste Euro-Tour. Hier die Termine:
