Bei 5 Sho(r)ts gibt es eine Box. In dieser Box befinden sich Karten in drei Kategorien, Serious, Music und Fun. Der/die Interviewpartner*in/en ziehen aus jeder Kategorie eine Karte und danach noch zwei zur freien Auswahl. Niemand weiß, welche Fragen sich dahinter verbergen. Der Fragenpool wächst auch immer wieder an. Somit werden den Interviewten nicht die selben abgedroschenen Fragen gestellt und es ist immer ein etwas anderes Interview.
#12 – Dead Fucking Last (DFL)
DFL sind eine Oldschool-Institution. Schroff, schnell, laut und immer auf den Punkt. So würde ich deren Musik bezeichnen. Auch die letzte EP YRUDFL kracht ohne Ende und macht genauso Spaß, wie alles Ältere dieser Band. Und genau so kurz wie die meisten Songs dieser Band, war auch das Interview.
1Kategorie „FUN“: What TV-Shows do you love?
Jordan: The Office is one of my favorite Show. Familiy Guy is also one of my favorite. And American Dad – mostly simple and funny Shows, I guess.
2Kategorie „SERIOUS“: In my opinion every band should have a clear political standing. Would you tell me yours?
Crazy Tom: Freedom of choice. Every individual should be abled to make their own descition and stand by it. And if you change you mind the next day, stand by that. That is freedom. Do what you wanna do. Be what you wanna be. Life is beautiful.
3Kategorie „FUN“: Your band is invited to a cooking show. What do you cook?
Patrick: If my band was invited to a cooking show it would have to be pizza. And after we were done cooking it we would absolutely deliver. Every fucking night. (laughing)
4Kategorie „MUSIC“: Do you have a favorite venue to play at?
I can´t tell who was saying what. They where answering all together: Jaha West. And my moms front yard. Quite a house party.
5Kategorie „SERIOUS“: Are you in or do you support any organization against racism, antisemitism or other discrimination?
Monty: Yes, well do I support any organization against racism, antisemitism, homophobia, anti-trans or that stuff? Actually the one organization I really do support is, and I´ve given them money actually is American Civil Liberties Union or the ACLU. It is really very important that we have them.
