Dass Harley Flanagan kein Kind von Traurigkeit ist, dürfte mittlerweile jedem bekannt sein. Seit Jahren ist Harley mit seiner ehemaligen Band, der New York Hardcore Legende Cro-Mags, verstritten und gründete deshalb seine eigene Band. Negativer Höhepunkt der Messeangriff gegen einen Ex-Bandkollegen während einer Show. Doch nun die Kehrwende.

Harley plant die Reunion des Cro-Mags Line-Ups mit Harley und John. Auslöser hierfür ist die schwere Erkrankung von Bad Brains Gitarrist Dr. Know. Hier das überraschende Statement von Flanagan auf seiner Website:
I am back in the studio working on a bunch of new material. Ever since I first heard about Dr Know’s health issues I’ve wanted to help. He was and is an important part of my life and always will be.
Again, I would like to extend my hand to John, Macky, Parris and Doug if they would be willing to put the past aside and record one new song with me, we could donate all of the proceeds to Dr Know. Darryl Jenifer could produce it. We could put it up as a download and every cent of it could go to Dr Know and his family.
Three positive things would be acomplished at once. It would help out a friend who needs it, it would make the fans happy, and it would make it easier for 5 old friends to forgive each other.
Forget all the talking about PMA that everyone does; how about we actually show some. Then we can all go back to our lives and know that we did something good; that we did the right thing, for the best reason.
