Die Punkband Abbruch wurde nach einem Konzert mit Oi Polloi in Prag von Nazis abgefangen und schwerst verletzt. Die Band schriebt dazu in einem englischsprachigen Statement folgende Stellungnahme.
„We unfortunately have to inform you about a serious incident. On May 1st, following the Oi Polloi concert at the @afafest161 in Prague, our band members Atze and Alexa were victims of a targeted neo-Nazi attack while heading to their accommodation. They were cornered on a bridge over the Vltava; Atze was forced to the ground and brutally beaten. The attackers only fled after he was bleeding profusely.
After an odyssey through hospitals in Prague and Berlin, Atze is now under the care of specialists. The injuries to his nose and teeth are severe, and it remains uncertain whether a severely damaged tooth can be saved. As his injuries currently make it nearly impossible for him to speak, he will be difficult to reach for the time being.
