Cold as Life is back! So wird Detroit-Hardest im August ihr neue Single Suffer auf Demons Run Amok Entertainment veröffentlichen. Suffer ist nicht nur das erste neue Material seit Declination of Independence aus dem Jahr 2000, sondern auch das erste Release seit dem Cold As Life Comeback seit 2015.
Wir hatten Bassist Craig Holloway zu seinen Hardcore-Punk Ursprüngen im Interview.

Erinnerst du dich an die erste Hardcore-Punk Show, die du besucht hast?

The first HC/Punk show I went to was to see the DESCENDENTS at the Graystone Hall in Detroit. July 31 1986. I had to google that!
Was ist bis heute dein absoluter Lieblingsclub?
Blondies in Detroit. So many great bands and memories growing up.
Erinnerst du dich noch an deine erste Hardcore-Punk Platte?
I got it inadvertently from my older sister. It was a cassette tape by a Canadian Punk Band called DEATH SENTENCE. Shortly after hearing that I was on a quest to find more. One prolific day for me at the record store was when I bought MINOR THREAT, MISFITS Earth A.D. and the CRO-MAGS AOQ. Talk about a life changing moment.
Was ist für dich die perfekte Hardcore Show?
I always liked the matinees. One thing good about HC shows is you get to see a lot of band s and discover new ones. Matinees are cool because it’s more of a hang with friends and usually you don’t have to be concerned with getting home at a decent hour if you have to work or go to school the next day. Or nowadays get your kids ready for schoos. LOL
