Turbulent beginnt das neue Jahr. Just nach Neujahrsbeginn in der deutschen Zeitzone kündigt die Oklahoma-City Punkbank Red City Radio an sich von ihrem langjährigen Bassisten Jonathan Knight getrennt zu haben.
Folgendes Statement hat die Band auf Facebook dazu veröffentlicht:
This announcement comes with no amount of joy. Red City Radio has parted ways with bassist Jonathan Knight.
No transition is ever easy. This transition will be no exception.
JoJo’s contributions to this band over the last 10 years, both business and creative, are immeasurable. We would not be the band we are today without them. We would like to thank him for his hard work over the years and wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors.
Moving forward, we are stoked to announce our good friend, Dirk Matthews, will be filling in for our upcoming Australia/Japan/Hawaii tour dates. We hope you will help us in giving Dirk a great big welcome while we’re out there.
