STRIFE neue EP „Incision“

90er Hardcore Legende STRIFE veröffentlichen am 04. September 4 brandneue Songs. Herausgebracht wird die EP mit den Titel „Incision“ auf War Records. War Records ist ein frisch gegründetes Platten-Label von STRIFE Gitarist Andrew Kline. „Incisions“ ist somit die erste Veröffentlichung seit der LP „Witness A Rebirth“, welche STRIFE im Jahr 2012 herausgebracht hat. „Witness A Rebirth“ war die erste Platte seit mehr als einen Jahrzehnt der Band.

Neue STRIFE Song im Stream

Vor ein paar Tagen veröffentlichte STRIFE den Titelsong der EP im Stream. Auf den Track gaben sich Ringworm Sänger James „Human Furnace“ Bulloch und der ehemalige Integrity Gitarrist Aaron Melnick die Ehre und gaben Gastparts in den Song „Incision“. STRIFE Gitarrist spricht im Noisey wie die Zusammenarbeit zu den Song zustande kam:

„We have always been big fans of the Clevo sound. I wrote the main riff for the track, and it took me back to Integrity’s debut LP For Those Who Fear Tomorrow. Human Furnace has one of the craziest and most distinct voices in hardcore, and I knew he would fit perfectly on the song… The final touch was when we got Aaron Melnick from Integrity to record his lead in full Systems Overload style…“

So äußert sich Andrew weshalb er War Records in Leben gerufen hat:

“Over the years, I have become more and more disillusioned with the record labels that we have dealt with. I funded the last record myself, and produced all of the marketing content on my own. I feel like I have the understanding and know how to do a better job, and do things on my own terms. I am very excited to see my first release into fruition.”

Produziert wurde die neue Strife EP von Terror Schlagzeuger Nick Jett, der zuvor schon für die Aufnahmen von Backtrack oder Bitter End zuständig war. Die EP wird sowohl auf CD, als auch auf 12″ Vinyl und Tape erhältlich sein.
