Sometimes it’s no longer enough to just make music.
Sometimes you have to decide what you stand for.
The current developments in the world and the increasingly escalating situation in Germany and Europe are causing great concern for me and many people around me.
When exclusion becomes socially acceptable again, when people are pitted against each other and hatred increasingly sets the tone, we must not remain silent.
Because an open society, democracy and solidarity cannot be taken for granted. They depend on us defending them.
Every day. Together!
For this reason, A Traitor Like Judas will return for a short time in the summer of 2027.
Not out of nostalgia.
Not simply to play old songs.
But to take a stand.
To bring people together.
And to make a difference.
At selected shows and festivals, we will join forces with our good friends at the Hardcore Help Foundation and other partners. The profits from performance fees and merchandise will go directly to charitable projects that strengthen democracy, protect people from discrimination and stand against the consequences of right-wing or rather far-right politics.
Because hope doesn’t arise on its own. It needs people who take action. Who stand up for one another. Who don’t look away when others are pushed to the margins.Dark times need bright lights. And hope needs us all.
This is more than a reunion. It’s a call to raise our voices together. For humanity. For solidarity. For a future in which no one has to be afraid of being different.
CARRY ON CHANGING THIS FUCKED UP WORLD!
