Harrington Saints haben nach 15 aktiven Jahren als Band ihre Auflösung bekannt gegeben. Die kalifornische Oi!-Band legte seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2005 drei Studioalben vor, die in Europa allesamt auf Contra Records erschienen ist
2019 veröffentlichte Harrington Saints mit 1,000 Pounds Of Oi! ihr bislang letztes Album. Hier das Statement der Band zur Auflösung:
We’ve come to the rather sad conclusion that after 15 years together, we will no longer be moving forward with Harrington Saints.
So, we are hanging up the boots, as HS anyway, and realizing we are all in different places in our lives at the moment.
We are fortunate to go out on our own terms, shake hands and remain friends.We all experienced things we would have never experienced if it wasn’t for this band. We have been through the lowest of lows and highest of highs together.
We want to say THANKS to the awesome people we have gotten to work with: Longshot Music, Contra Records, Pirates Press Records, City-Rat Booking ,Hidden Talent Booking, Lars Fredriksen, Michael Rosen @East Bay Recorders, Lee Bothwick, Sharkbite Studios, Scott McChane, Justin @ Silkie’s screen-printing, Randale Records, Insurgence Records, KB Records, Step-1 Records and all the wonderful people that work at and run these labels/establishments.
Thank you to the ‚zines, the records shops, the DJ’s, The sound engineers, The Bands we have become brothers with, the venues (Where would we go without you!?) and mostly, the people who supported us along the way and allowed us to do this thing for 15 years!
Massive Thanks to our families. Without their support, caring and encouragement, we would have never gotten off the ground!
